Cotswold Ewe Licking a Nursing Lamb

Colin's Creatures Sheep Figurines, Cotswold Ewe Licking Lamb

Enjoy this sweet English Cotswold and her lamb sharing a special moment. A very regular customer named Bridget was by the studio last autumn and she wanted something different, She liked the nursing lambs and the licking moms but she wanted them all in one. I loved her idea and it worked out beautifully. I hope you like it because it is this month's special. Save 15% off the regular $103 price for the month of April. The ewe stands about 4" tall, the ewe is covered with woven mohair and the lamb's fur is wool.

All my creatures are handcrafted in my Asheville, NC studio using porcelain, castable stone and imported woven fur from the Steiff company in Germany.

Breed Description

I really try to put action into my sheep and at times it can be challenging, but to me these are the best, nursing and licking. What more could you ask of a baby and mom.

The Cotswold is raised in the south midlands region of England and predates the Romans. It derives its name from the fact that is was originally housed in shelters known as "cots" and was pastured in wild, treeless hill areas called "wolds". While it is a somewhat rare breed, it is one of my most popular offerings.
