Ah, that new baby smell! The head and legs are porcelain on the ewe and the lamb is all porcelain. The ewe is covered with woven mohair and the lamb's fur is wool.

All my creatures are handcrafted in my Asheville, NC studio using porcelain, castable stone and imported woven fur from the Steiff company in Germany.

Breed Description

A sheep spends it's time eating and lying down and there is no better time to snuggle with you lamb than when you're both lying down.

The Cotswold is raised in the south midlands region of England and predates the Romans. It derives its name from the fact that is was originally housed in shelters known as "cots" and was pastured in wild, treeless hill areas called "wolds". While it is a somewhat rare breed, it is one of my most popular offerings. Lambs are on top of mom so often, it is nice to see the reverse.
