Garfagnina Ewe Straddling Lamb
Colin's Creatures Handmade sheep figures, Garfagnina Ewe Straddling Lamb

This Garfagnina ewe features a cream face and legs with beige fur. She stands protectively over her sweet lamb, who is tucked under Mom's legs. The pair features different fur since lambs development their adult coat over time. Please note the fur is hand dyed, so it may differ slightly from lot to lot.

All my creatures are handcrafted in my Asheville, NC studio using porcelain, castable stone and imported woven fur from Steiff-Schulte in Germany.

Size: 5" Tall approx.

Breed Description
The Garfagnina is a dairy breed from Tuscany. It is known for its Pecorino di Garfagnina cheese, a local favorite. The breed is adapted to the local environment (hills) and has a long, angular look to its face.
