Breed Description

The Berkshire pig is an old breed that comes from a region just west of London. They were first brought to the US in 1823 and have quickly gained a good reputation for their productivity.This little piglet is 3" tall at the back and other than the tail, is all porcelain. Because there is no fur, I've been able to put more detail into the carving and thus I think they're one of my cutest carvings. The photo shows two perspective of the same animal.
