The Herdwick is found in the Lake District of Northwestern England, on the Fells of Westmoreland and Cumberland. The stone walls of the region are higher than most because the Herdwick got the nickname the "Leaping Herdwicks" for a reason.The are incredibly rugged beasts, able to winter over in the snow covered fields

The fur shown has been discontinued so I am now hand dying it, and it may differ slightly from that shown, but not by much. I will rephotograph when time permits.
