Agnus Dei Standing Turned

Agnus Dei Standing Turned

This is my second carving of the Agnus Dei. It is slightly larger and a little more detailed than the first. It is available with either a red or golden cross on the flag. Please specify which you prefer. The flag is wedged between the bent leg and a wire encased in the body which although very stable, neither pieces can grip the flag so it is pron to slid. This is easily over come with a piece of tape holding flag to the wire..

All my creatures are handcrafted in my Asheville, NC studio using porcelain, castable stone and imported woven fur from Steiff-Schulte in Germany.

Size: 4 1/2" Tall

Breed Description
In my trips around Europe to photograph sheep I visit many cathedrals and quaint churches and take as many photos of these structure as I do of the sheep in the fields.
I've often thought that if I lived 500 to 900 years ago, I would have been a designer or builder of such structures. The details have always fascinated me and how the Agnus Dei is depicted has been one of those details.
The height of this is 4 1/2" to the tip of the flag
