Colin's Creatures Life Like Sheep figurines, Brigasca Flock


 

I’ve made my creatures for more than a quarter of a century now and have accumulated a variety of small cuts of awesome furs that just never made it onto a breed in my flock. I’ve also retired dozens of sheep breeds for one reason or another but the carvings are some of my favorites.

Rather than let all of this go to waste, I’ve decided to pair these up and create some breeds that I’ve never seen but would like to have.

Because they are made of furs that are generally no longer available and I have just a little of, I am calling these “Limited Editions”, something I’ve never done before.

All my creatures are handcrafted in my Asheville, NC studio using porcelain, castable stone and imported woven fur from the Steiff company in Germany.
